Happy 2016

Happy 2016!

2015 was a life changing year and I'm excited to see what this next year has in store.

My resolutions for this year are to actively choose more positive thoughts in day to day life, expect good things instead of assuming the worst, allow myself to be loved, and forego the checklists and be open to where this next year will take me. Last year brought on a lot of unexpected blessings and opportunities for our family and at work, but it's also been a long season of being in constant limbo and feeling like no matter what we do we can't seem to have things figured out. I can get really fixated on having things turn out a certain way but I'm learning to let go so that I can open my eyes to all the good things that have come into my life because of all the bumps in the road. My life is so blessed; what a waste to spend it not being happy!
