Thanksgiving // Part 2 : Cabin in Woodside

After Thanksgiving day the rest of my family came in from different parts of the country to celebrate and spend some time together surrounded by beauty in a magical cabin in the woods that my parents generously rented for us in Woodside. This definitely made it a Thanksgiving I'll never forget. I am so lucky to have a family that has stuck together despite our differences. Truly thankful for these brilliant people!

This year we had our Thanksgiving meal on our living room coffee table and counted our blessings - many of which we are so thankful for this year!

Thanksgiving Road Trip // Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito, Mt. Tamalpais

We took our first road trip as a family of three over Thanksgiving weekend to the Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito and Mt Tamalpais. We already had fond memories of this place from the time we biked across the bridge for my birthday a couple years back.

Traveling with a newborn was simpler than I initially thought it would be. We were lucky enough to catch Noah at an age where he's old enough to be content in the car seat, young enough to not really know he's being fed or getting his diaper changed in the car, and still happy and light enough to be carried everywhere in a wrap.  And oddly enough for me, it was surprisingly a really nice change of pace from our little one bedroom apartment to breastfeed with an ocean view or scenic lookout of San Francisco with fresh crisp air coming through the window.

Also not going to lie though- we did get lost a million times trying to find the trail we wanted to take at Mt. Tam,  had our share of fights caused by hangriness, motion sickness, and frustration from carrying a million things at once at all times but never knowing where anything was, and worried about Noah incessantly.  But I wouldn't have had it any other way and am so glad we did it!
